Meet the person coming to your door
FixNest is owner-operated. When you call, you reach Dima, and Dima is the technician who does the repair.
Hi, I'm Dima
I've been repairing home appliances for more than five years. I run FixNest from San Francisco the way I'd want a repair company to treat me: one technician, one phone number and a warranty I stand behind.
I started the business because too many people were being told to wait a week for a technician while the food in their fridge spoiled. Most appliance problems come down to one failed part, and most of those parts can be replaced the day you call.
When you call, I ask what the machine is doing and tell you when I can be there. I arrive with the parts most likely to fix it. Before I start, you get the price in writing. If the repair doesn't make sense for the age of the appliance, I'll tell you that too.
Every repair carries a 1-year warranty on parts and labor. If the same problem comes back in that time, I come back and fix it free.

How we work
One technician, one phone
No dispatcher and no handoffs. The person who takes your call knows your appliance by the time he arrives.
The price before the work
You get a written quote after the diagnosis. Nothing is added later without your OK.
Repair first, honestly
Fixing a good machine beats replacing it. When a repair isn't worth the money, we say so and explain why.
