The person who answers the phone is the one who shows up
FixNest is not a call center that hands your job to whoever is free. It is Dima, a working technician with more than five years of repairs behind him, and he is the one at your door.
That means the person who heard you describe the problem is the same person who diagnoses it, quotes it and stands behind the repair.

How a repair goes
Call or book online
Tell us the appliance, the brand and what it's doing. We agree on an arrival window, often the same day.
We diagnose and quote
We test the appliance, find the failed part and give you a written price. You decide whether to go ahead.
We fix it and warranty it

Questions people ask before booking
Do you offer same-day service?
On most calls, yes. The earlier in the day you call, the better the odds. If the day is full, we offer the next opening and give you an arrival window when you book.
How much will my repair cost?
It depends on the appliance and the part. We tell you the cost of the visit when you book, and you get a written quote for the repair before any work starts. Nothing is added afterward without your OK.
What does the 1-year warranty cover?
The parts we install and our labor, for 12 months. If the same problem comes back in that time, we return and fix it at no charge.
Is it better to repair or replace?
A common rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than half the price of a comparable new appliance and yours is past the middle of its expected life, replacing usually makes more sense. We give you an honest read either way.
I rent. Can I still book a repair?
Yes. Appliances that came with the unit are usually the owner's to repair, so check with your landlord first. We work with tenants, owners and property managers, and we can send the quote and invoice to the owner.
Are you insured?
Yes. FixNest carries liability insurance for work in your home.
Which areas do you cover?
San Francisco, the Peninsula from Daly City and Pacifica to Mountain View, the coast to Half Moon Bay, and the East Bay from El Cerrito and Berkeley through Oakland to San Leandro. See the service area map.
